Kristine Moss, LSW, CFBT
Hi! My name is Kristine Moss (she/her), and I am excited to walk this new journey with you. I am a therapist and Licensed Social Worker who is devoted to creating an emotionally safe environment for healing and self-growth. I serve both individuals and families, tailoring evidence-based treatments according to each client’s specific needs.
My Background
I have a strong background in community-based family systems work and am a Certified Family Based Therapist. I believe in the power of connection and families where I aim to focus on process rather than content. In addition to my experience in Family Based, I have previous community work in Family Advocacy and teaching for Head Start. My undergrad is from The Pennsylvania State University in Human Development and Family Studies. I have a master’s degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in Social Work with a specialty in the Hispanic Latino population.
My Specialties
I have experience working with depression, ADHD, anxiety, suicidal ideation, mood disorders, trauma, identity issues, substance use disorders, LGBTQIA+, PTSD, foster and adoption, divorce, attachment, relationships, and family dynamics. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I am currently working towards my License Clinical Social Work and am receiving active supervision to do so. I am looking forward to obtaining training within Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Polyvagal Theory. Read more here on Psychology Today!
