Heather Prentice, LMFT
(she/her)
My primary role as a therapist is to provide a safe, genuine relationship – a place for you to be both the person you’re afraid to show and the one you desire to be. Life has a tendency to tangle our needs and dreams, making it hard to access our abilities. I’m here to help coax out those threads of hope and strength to be crafted into your true narrative. You may have a vivid picture of your goals in seeking therapy, or simply a yearning for growth. Together we can make that vision manifest in your day to day life.
My Background
I have worked in multiple settings including outpatient, homes, and schools to provide care where it is most needed. I specialize in working with adolescents, but love helping people of all ages using a blend of experiential, narrative, and systemic perspectives.
Whether you are seeking help as an individual, couple, or family, I pursue a collaborative approach to ensure each person’s voice and needs are heard. I recognize that there is “no one size fits all” approach to therapy. Instead, I strive to work with you to find the most effective and authentic modality for your needs.
